 Slow shipping - Hassle free replacement Mar 12, 2010
Ordered the item thru Amazon. Cheapest when I placed my order.
Took 11 days before it ends into my mailbox (USPS). Would have expected a faster delivery.
Fortunately, it is a filter... Not a survival kit.
Other than that, replacing the filter is takes 20 seconds.
Don't forget to poor 3 galons of water that you will throw away prior to start drinking the water.

PROS:
It was extremely easy to remove the existing filter and install the new one. It's nice to be able to get filtered water without having one of thoase bulky filters on your sink water tap.
CONS:
I think it is rediculous that these filters are so expensive. I use this water to fill my coffee maker which is the type that only makes one cup at a time. This allows you to use all opf the water and not throw out half a pot of unused coffee.if you use this water for your coffee maker in addition to drinking, the filter onl;y lasts about two monthswhich at about $40.00 can be extremely expensive.

This is a great water filter. Water tastes great and it last for 5-6 months. I would have given 5 Stars but these filters are overpriced in general (although Amazon offers a decent price).

I was tired of refilling the Brita pitcher, so we got a refrigerator with the filtered water dispenser. This works great, I just wish I didn't have to keep replacing it every six months. You will definitely taste and smell the difference.

We have a Kitchenaid fridge, and the water comes out tasting great. But it takes forever to come out! It's so time consuming to stand there with this filter that I've gone back to drinking terrible poison tap water because I don't have three minutes (literally three whole minutes) to fill a 14-oz glass. It wasn't like this with the filter that came with the fridge.
